Parish merits recognition

Regarding the article, “Local kids pitch in …” in the May 12 edition of The Aspen Times:

Happy to see The Aspen Times got some of that good old-time religion on the front page when I read “Local kids pitch in to help Iraqis.”

It is a good reason why I transferred Episcopal membership from Glendale, Calif., to Christ Episcopal Church in Aspen.

Christ Episcopal Church Parish merits more recognition in many more Episcopal and other significant circles beyond Aspen and Colorado to build stronger bridges of friendship and stewardship with others at home and abroad.

The Episcopal ghost of Rev. William Vesey of Trinity Episcopal Church in the Wall Street area of New York City would proudly agree with me on what I have just written.
