Paraglider breaks a leg during landing

A 51-year-old Illinois man broke two lower bones in one of his legs in a paragliding accident Monday morning.
The mishap apparently occurred as the man attempted to land in the Northstar Preserve east of Aspen.
The man, whose name was unavailable, was admitted to Aspen Valley Hospital, according to a hospital spokesperson, who said the man was in stable condition with a fracture of the tibula and fibula.
