Parade winners announced
The Aspen Chamber Resort Association announced this year’s winners of the Fourth of July Parade on Tuesday afternoon, with one winner in each of five categories.Wildcat Ranch’s “Statue of Liberty” won for most patriotic, the Aspen Art Museum took the prize for most outrageous, and Snowmass Base Village Construction won for most humorous. Kids on bicycles won in the best children’s category, and “Pugs on Parade” was the best animal entry of the parade.The judges were community members Karri Britton, ACRA board; Hana Pevny, AEXJet; Rick Jones, ACRA board; Jamie Miller, KSPN; and Helen Klanderud, mayor.
