Panel was a blessing

Dear Editor:After reading The Aspen Times article, “Institute leaves locals feeling shortchanged,” on Monday, Aug. 2, I wanted to verbalize that the article is not at all reflective of what everyone felt.I was one of the individuals sitting on the steps outside the Paepcke Auditorium, listening to the panel through the outside speakers. My feelings were “what a blessing to be able to hear a group of such high-integrity individuals deal in a respective and wise way with such a complex issue.”My thanks go to Walter Isaacson, The Aspen Institute and the distinguished panel for providing such a high-integrity potential for shifting our world to something better.Tanai StarrsAspen
