Former Aspenite Pam Bidwell passed away after a long illness.
A highly regarded graphic designer in the 1970s and ’80s, working out of an office in the Elks Building, she was born in Punxsutawney, Penn. She moved to Aspen right after college. Later she lived in Hawaii, southern Colorado and New Zealand. Near the end of her life, she lived in the Seattle area with her sister.
Near the end of her life, Pam said that she got to do everything she ever wanted to do. Her two sisters were at her side when she passed away.
