Oval Office a disgrace
Dear Editor:Everyone who is witnessing the despicable behavior of the Obama administration’s use of “executive privilege” in the Fast and Furious debacle should be outraged. So much for the president’s call for “transparency in government.”What a farce. This is a slap in the face of every Border Patrol agent protecting us 24/7 in one of the most dangerous jobs there is. There is a dead agent here, for God’s sake! What if it was your daughter or son?First I urge all to call upon the White House and Eric Holder at the Department of Justice to explain their decision personally and directly to the family of the fallen agent. Second, call upon them to rescind this “privilege” and ask for Holder to immediately resign.Third, remember, this in November. It is just another reminder of the ghastly ineptitude of this administration. How’s that “Hope & Change” working for you?Rich WontorBasalt
