Outraged by the corporate muzzle
As a community, we are outraged at the censorship of the Aspen Times comments section.
Does the corporate Aspen Times feel the need to protect us from ourselves? Does the Aspen Times need to “preapprove” any comments so that we are more civil to each other? Please, but no thank you.
My European friends say that in America, you are free. Free to do what they tell you can do. Recently, a liberal talk-show host was arrested at her Florida congressman’s town hall meeting who wore his military uniform when she tried to ask a follow-up question when he tried to avoid her original question for being “unruly.” I’ll say
Start a dialogue, stay on topic and be civil.
If you don't follow the rules, your comment may be deleted.
The city of Aspen’s office building is exempt from paying encroachment fees, yet private developers have to now pay $9 a square foot, per month, starting in 2020.
