Orange for impeachment

Dear Editor: A friend recently e-mailed an idea that I like and want to share with anyone who feels that it’s time for regime change in the U.S.The idea is to wear something orange every Friday, starting now. For more details, go to http://www.worldcantwait.org.Participating in this nationwide movement will show support for impeaching the Bush-Cheney cabal and to begin instilling sanity in the federal government.The organizers envision “A sea of people that will eventually fill the streets and who can no longer be ignored by the media and the politicians!” It reminds me of the Velvet Revolution in the former Czechoslovakia and similar popular uprisings in Poland, the former Soviet Union and the Philippines.Meaningful change will start at the grassroots level, not at the top.
