Open your hearts and minds

Dear Editor:

Let me remind you that when families came to this country and were part of forming their neighborhoods and communities, the first thing they did was build a church and then barns and then their homes. When God is given first place, the blessings flow. An area with a church building and community meeting place, such as is planned for Grace Church, only will be added value in the community. It is hard for me to understand the FEW people who fail to see the benefits of church facilities in the community. Let your hearts and minds be open to benefits and blessings.

There are many issues you could oppose that are harmful in our area ” use your energy to fight something that is harmful to our area. Also use that energy to help people who are the core-value people instead of fighting them.

The kids in Grace Church are such a great influence on the kids in the area and need a place to grow. Think about the value of good Christian leadership both in the adult world and in the children’s world. You truly will be part of guarding the next generation by putting your hands to helping, as the great people of the United States originally did.

We and others are very much in favor of Grace Church moving forward with building plans.
