One small step
Dear Editor:I would like to thank the Snowmass Town Council for all of their hard work and the positive preliminary vote for Base Village. Change is never easy and it takes small positive steps to reinforce the larger commitment of Base Village, The Aspen Skiing Co. and the residents of Snowmass Village.I have seen Snowmass even before it was developed in the ’60s. My father brought me from Chicago to Aspen in the ’50s. My husband and I brought our children in the ’70s. Now our grandson will be fourth generation to ski this year. My late father will never see Base Village or his great-grandson skiing, but he believed in family. Base Village and the Children’s Center will light up the word family for me again.Nancy R.
