ASPEN SKI COMPANY OFFICIAL REPORT: 0″ in the past 24 hours, 0″ in 48 hours and 10″ in the last 7 days. High of 63°, low of 33°.
ASPEN TIMES FIELD REPORT: On Snowmass yesterday, even the cooler temps at the top offered little comfort – the snow is soft up there. At the bottom, it is very soft, wierd, & unpredictable. I saw at least 3 people being taken off the mountain via ski patrol sled. Be careful out there people! As for down valley cross country options – it’s long gone! In Carbondale it’s time to break out the bikes, rafts, golf clubs, etc.
