On The Hill: Shredding Snowmass with Challenge Aspen C.A.M.O. Special Operations participants
VIDEO: Challenge Aspen has been providing recreational opportunities in the high country for 20 years, and there may be no tougher, cooler group of participants than their C.A.M.O. military adaptive participants that they regularly host, assist and train in all sorts of snow-sport methodologies. Aspen Times mountain correspondent Corby Anderson takes a run with SOCOM US Special Forces adaptive skier Andrew and his program coordinator Cory on a beautiful, warm, sunny day on Snowmass’ Sneaky’s run in today’s On The Hill.

ASPEN SKI COMPANY OFFICIAL REPORT: 0″ in the past 24 hours, 0″ in 48 hours and 4″ in the last 7 days. High of 39°, low of 9°.
ASPEN TIMES FIELD REPORT: The snow on Snowmass’ Big Burn is holding up beautifully, despite just a foot or so of fresh over the past few weeks. Things are a big slick in the mornings, but if you follow the sun expect to be rewarded with nice soft carvers all afternoon. It is warm, with temps in the upper-30’s, so a shell and a good vest are about all that you need today.
LIFT LINE STATUS: About five minutes at the Fanny Hill six-pack.
