Aspen official report: 0″ of new snow overnight, 1″ in the past 48 hours, and 8″ in the past week.
Aspen Times field report: Ay laddies, she’s a murky one this morn, and a wee chill to the bones–39° but breezy and the wind chill makes it feel a tad colder. Thar’s a storm on us, so conditions are likely to change as the day progresses, but this morn was like skiing the head of nice pint o’ Guinness!
Liftline status: Just a few wee leprechauns.
Snowcast: The National Weather Service has issues a winter storm warning for the surrounding areas. There is a 50 percent chance of snow showers through Tuesday night. Tonight Scattered snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 14°. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. New snow accumulation of around an inch to five inches is possible.
