Conditions: Today, we’re checking out a summer holiday traditionin Aspen — the Boogie’s Buddy Race, a benefit for the popular Aspen Buddy Program. The five-mile race starts and finishes in downtown Aspen. Nearly 900 runners hit the streets and the trails around Aspen for the 2013 event.



Today’s weather: Partly cloudy, high near 78. A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with gusty winds to 25 mph.— National Weather Service
