Aspen official report: 1″ of new snow overnight, 1″ in the past 48 hours, and 7″ in the past week.
Aspen Times field report: There are suprisingly light crowds on a semi-official holiday, which is nice after a very busy weekend. The snow conditions vary from top to bottom, with almost spring-like cakes top and midway, and icy boilerplate below.
Liftline status: Not bad at all considering it is Presidents’ Day!
Snowcast: Clear and sunny with highs in upper 40’s. Similar conditions tomorrow, then a storm moves into the area on Wednesday evening with snow expected through the weekend.
