On the Hill: Race for the Cure

On the Hill Summer, brought to you by The Steadman Clinic and the Steadman Philippon Research Institute, brings you a video report about a different High Country adventure every day.

Today’s activity: Race for the Cure

Conditions: Today, we’re down at Rio Grande Park for the running of the Race for the Cure. Aspen’s largest footrace of the summer, the Komen Race For the Cure. During the day there is a 10K, a 5K and a mile walk/run to raise money and awareness for research into breast cancer. A great event to raise money for an extremely worthy cause.

Today’s weather: Partly sunny, high near 82. 30% percent chnce of showers and thunderstorms. Light winds 5-10 mph from the southwest. — National Weather Service
