Aspen official report: 0″ of new snow overnight, 0″ in the past 48 hours, and 6″ in the past week.

Aspen Times field report: Soft snow with a bunch more expected to fall in the next 36 hours. Variable conditions today, partly cloudy to very cloudy later.

Liftline status: Very light liftlines today.

Snowcast: 80% chance of snow showers today. High of 47, low of 25.Tonight Scattered snow. Chance of up to 5-9″ of fresh snow on mountain by dawn. Another 4-6″ of snow is expected overnight on Thursday, with a few more by Saturday. A total of 16″ or more snow may fall on the upper mountains by Saturday morning. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the surrounding areas from 3pm today through 9pm on Friday night.
