Aspen official report: 1″ of new snow overnight, 1″ in the past 48 hours, and 13″ in the past week.

Aspen Times field report: It’s snowing like crazy up there! At least four inches on the ground since this mornings report of 1″ of new, and the heavy, wet stuff continues to fall. Very low visibility at times. Bring a good set of goggles!

Liftline status: Very few folks on the hill today.

Snowcast: Scattered snow showers. Areas of blowing dust after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41. Breezy, with a west southwest wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible. Tonight: Scattered snow showers, mainly before 7pm. Areas of blowing dust before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18. Breezy, with a west southwest wind 15 to 25 mph decreasing to 5 to 15 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%. There is a 50% chance of snow through Thursday.
