Aspen official report: 1″ fresh inch, with more falling by the minute.

Aspen Times field report: A nice inch or two on the ground this morning made for a fun cruise down Copper. It was dumping, with low visibility, very cold temps and windy up top.

Liftline status: Light liftlines at the Silver Queen Gondola at 9am. Probably getting busier as the day goes on.

Breakdown: All four mountains reported 0″ fresh snow overnight, but there are several inches on the ground as of 10am, with more on the way. Good day to stay near the trees for visibility purposes. It is chili up there. Bring the warm gloves! My fingers nearly froze off in my work gloves!

Snowcast: There’s nothing in NOAA’s forecast for this week.
