Aspen official report: 0″ of new snow overnight, 0″ in the past 48 hours, and 14″ in the past week. Scattered snow showers, high near 44, packed powder.

Aspen Times field report: Partly sunny, 30° up top, packed powder, freshies in the woods. Get out there before 1pm, when scattered snow showers are expected to roll in and drop wet snow. Spirits are high on this New Orleans holiday! Snowmass is hosting its 32nd Annual Mardi Gras Celebration with bead toss, parade, and live music, starting at 3pm. Snowmass is reporting 19″ of new snow in the past week, and rumor has it conditions are prime still….

Snowcast: 50% chance of scattered rain and snow showers, mainly after 1pm. Tonight: Scattered snow showers, mainly before 2am. Mostly cloudy, low around 17. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Chance of precipitation 50%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
