Aspen official report: No new snow to report. 15″ in the past week.

Aspen Times field report: Hardpack snow conditions. Good day to stay in the sunny spots. Should soften up just in time to get a few turns in before you head into town to catch the big game.

Liftline status: Very light lift lines.

Breakdown: Mellow Sunday crowds, relatively warm temperatures, and bright blue skies make for excellent early afternoon turns. This reporter turns into a pumpkin at 1pm though. Go BRONCOS!

Snowcast: We are in a strong high pressure system for now though mid-week. Temps will be in the upper 30’s and low 40’s through thursday, then dip into the 20’s again in advance of a two day storm. 50% chance of snow forecast for Thursday and Friday.
