On The Hill: A quiet Friday on the hill preceeds a wild closing weekend at Snowmass and Highlands
VIDEO: Nary a soul is up on Aspen Mountain this morning on what is really a beautiful day to ski. Could it be that everyone is saving themselves for the wild closing weekend events at Snowmass and Highlands?

ASPEN SKI COMPANY OFFICIAL REPORT: 0″ in the past 24 hours, 3″ in 48 hours and 3″ in the last 7 days. High of 56°, low of 24°.
ASPEN TIMES FIELD REPORT: It is really a beautiful spring day up on Ajax. The corduroy is fantastic, even in mid-April. Probably smart to stay on the main trails as there is melt-off happening everywhere but. It is warm, so you probably don’t need a mid-layer base – and sunny, so think about changing out to your dark lenses if you have the option on your goggles.
LIFT LINE STATUS: Walk right up and grab a red gondy car all to yourself!
