Aspen official report: 7″ of new snow overnight, 12″ in the past 48 hours, and 14″ in the past week. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39.
Aspen Times field report: NICE fresh, soft snow — perhaps up to a foot or more in spots, 34° up top with variable visibility. It was really cloudy this morning, but sunny by the time we skied back into town.
Liftline status: Come on, man – this is Aspen, Coolorado! Lift lines!!???
Snowcast: 20 percent chance of scattered snow showers this afternoon through Tuesday. Warming trend begins mid-week, and another weekend storm is predicted next weekend.
