Aspen official report: 9″ of new snow in the past 24 hours. 33″ of new snow in the past 24 hours, 37″ in the past week.
Aspen Times field report: DEEP powder, and now the sun is out. That is all.
Liftline status: Lines down the gondola stairs this morning. Snowmass is packed today.
Breakdown: It’s possible that today’s snow is actually BETTER than yesterday’s epic, historic powder dump. It’s lighter, and the visibility is excellent compared to yesterday’s goggle-nuker. Be careful, as there is still high avalanche danger out there. Ski in pairs whenever possible!
Snowcast: There’s nothing in NOAA’s forecast for this week.
