Aspen official report: 1″ of new snow overnight, 3″ in the past 48 hours, and 8″ in the past week. Scattered snowshowers, high 44, low 16.
Aspen Times field report: What a beautiful morning up on Aspen Mountain. For the first time in a few days, and for one of the first times of this young ski season, we were blessed with the bright sunshine and blue skies that make all of this snow glisten just so, and feel so soft underfoot!
There are only a few folks kicking off the holiday early, so you’ve got the whole, perfectly groomed, powder-stashy mountain to yourselves!
Liftline status: Aspen Mountain: The California stop of lift lines.
Listening to: Chopin, 5th movement of the fuge in D…just kidding! SLAYER!
Snowcast: Partly cloudy later today, with a high in the mid-40’s, low of 20 tonight. Mostly sunny and warm, with temps in the low-40’s for Thanksgiving (also the opening of Snowmass,) and on through World Cup Weekend.
