OK, this is really it for Ajax skiing

There is one more weekend of skiing and snowboarding left to put an exclamation point on the 2013-14 season. It seems only fitting that Aspen Mountain will close after getting powder earlier in the week with warm, bluebird days on the weekend.

Aspen Skiing Co. announced that the Silver Queen Gondola will operate along with the Ajax Express, FIS and Ruthie’s chairlifts. The hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Sundeck restaurant will fire up its outside grill.

All 2013-14 season passes will be applied as they were during the season — Double Flex Passes are good for Saturday and Sunday; the Flex Pass is good for one day. Extensions for the Flex Passes and Classic Pass will be $29 for adult passholders and $21 for child, youth and College Classic passholders.

The one-day lift ticket at the window will be $62 for adults ages 18 to 64; $57 for youth ages 13 to 17; $57 for seniors ages 65 to 69; and $42 for children ages 7 to 12. Kids 6 and younger ski for free.

Aspen Mountain was scheduled to close Easter Sunday, but Skico extended the season for two weekends because of favorable snow conditions.
