Obituary: Kenny Dale Carpenter

Kenny grew up in Aspen, CO with his grandmother and uncle, Charlotte and Jerry Southard. He graduated from High School in 1977, during this time, he worked as a butcher at Tom’s Market, assisted Dick Miller with the Boy Scouts, and was an actor in high school plays. He was an avid skier. He enlisted in the Air Force and lived in London for 6 years. Kenny returned to Aspen for two months and then joined the Navy for 4 years in San Diego, CA where he met his partner of 37 years, Dennis Ardillo, and moved to Hawaii.
Preceding him in death are his grandmother, mother, and sister. A memorial will be held in Hawaii with his ashes to be returned home to Aspen.
