Susan 'Beth' Seeman, 59, passed away unexpectedly due to heart failure on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2016.

Beth was born on June 26th, 1957 and grew up in South Harrison Twp. in NJ. She was a graduate of Kingsway Regional High School class of 1975, received a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Glassboro State College and went on to earn a Master's degree at the University of Colorado at Denver. Beth worked for the Aspen Police Department for 19 years as a detective before retiring and most recently was a personal assistant to Lynda Cameron.

Her love for Aspen began in the 1970's during family ski trips and grew stronger after moving here in 1980. She loved the outdoors. Whether she was hiking, skiing, camping or horseback riding, she loved the mountains. Beth was a beautiful Christian woman who loved and was adored by her family and friends. Some of her favorite ways to spend her time were: personal Bible study and fellowship with her church family; sideline cheering for her nieces and nephews, the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies, and time spent with her beloved dogs and horses. Always the encourager, Beth had a special ability to make people laugh and was so much fun to be around.

She was predeceased by her father William E. Seeman Sr. and is survived by Elizabeth F. Seeman mother, brother William E. Seeman Jr, sister Bonnie L. Girault and husband Stephen Girault, brother Christopher J. Seeman and wife Lynne DeFrancesca Seeman, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at Crossroads Church of Aspen on Saturday, Dec 10th at 6:00pm (726 West Francis Street Aspen, CO 81611 970-925-7828). The ceremony will also be streamed live at crossroadsaspen.com.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Beth's memory can be made to Crossroads Church of Aspen (726 west Francis street Aspen, CO 81611)
