Not your average Joe supporter
Dear Editor:
I’d like to correct a minor misconception. In Andrew Travers’ piece in the July 18th Aspen Daily News he characterizes me as a paid member of Joe DiSalvo’s campaign.
While I was paid $2,000 to design a “DiSalvo Our Next Sheriff” poster as Travers reported, once the poster was completed and I was paid, any official association I had with Joe’s campaign ended. Since then I haven’t been to any campaign meetings or attended any DiSalvo rallies. While I strongly support Joe, my actions are that of a concerned voter.
In the future any opinions I may offer, or responses to calls for apologies or suggestions that I “shut up” will also be purely that of a private citizen.
