Not the right spot

Dear Editor:

If the art museum wants to “go it on their own” with their massive donations from art aficionados, more power to them. But locals do NOT frequent the art museum, so do not allow them to destroy our beloved youth center with its magnificent views.

Don’t act rashly. Let the art museum find a location where people can park, but don’t plop a huge art museum that isn’t used by locals in a prime location that’s precious to locals.

Huge box-style architecture is popping up all over Aspen. We must preserve what little remains of Aspen’s charm.
