Dear Editor:

Joseph Hultquist’s letters crack me up. He seems to believe the Wilderness Workshop is the mastermind behind everything he doesn’t like in the world.

They say any publicity is good publicity, so I guess the Wilderness Workshop should be thankful for all of Mr. Hultquist’s efforts.

But, for the record, WW had nothing to do with the scientific study Mr. Hultquist mentions in his latest letter; we are not “trying to hijack” his off-road funding; and in fact our mission has nothing whatever to do with creating hiking trails.
