Not dead, just different

I apologize for calling our city election a “circus.” I should let such letters mellow for 24 hours. I have been in a rotten mood.

All the debates were well done and increased our knowledge of the important issues facing our beloved Aspen.

We “old coots” sometimes let our reverie of the Aspen we knew 10 to 30 years ago cloud our understanding of Aspen today.

Messy, fun vitality is not dead – just different.

Congratulations to all who ran for office.
