Nonprofit fair and wine tasting takes place in Aspen

ASPEN – Thursday at The Little Nell hotel in Aspen, more than 25 nonprofits are gathering to help people better understand the groups’ missions and volunteer opportunities while providing wine and light appetizers.

The event, hosted by the Aspen Young Professionals Association, is free for members and $15 for nonmembers. It lasts from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Ball and Boardroom area of The Little Nell.

Participating nonprofits include the Aspen Chamber Resort Association, Anderson Ranch, the Aspen Art Museum, the Aspen Democracy Initiative, the Aspen Historical Society, Aspen Public Radio, the Aspen Valley Medical Foundation, the Aspen Writers’ Foundation, the Buddy Program, the Chris Klug Foundation, the Family Visitors Program, Lucky Day Animal Rescue, Pathfinders, the Red Cross, RESPONSE, the Roaring Fork Conservancy, Roaring Fork Leadership, Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Springboard, the Sol Theater Co., Theatre Aspen, the Thrift Shop and Youth Zone.
