No parking available for Jazz Aspen concerts

ASPEN – The Jazz Aspen Snowmass June Festival kicks off Friday and runs through Sunday with shows at the Benedict Music Tent. The event’s organizers suggest that concertgoers take public transportation, walk or ride a bike to the venue. Parking is not available at the site.

Free concert shuttles will depart Rubey Park starting at 6 p.m. nightly and will leave the Benedict Music Tent continuously until 11 p.m. The free Cross Town Shuttle also offers service to the shows.

Along with the performances under the tent, lawn parties will be held from 6 to 8:30 each night outside the tent, with live music from New Orleans gypsy jazz group Showarama along with cocktails and food for purchase from Caribou Club Catering and Randy Placeres’ Aspen Culinary Solutions.

Also, no coolers, cameras, radios or recording devices are allowed at the Benedict Music Tent.
