Dear Editor: My kids love to use the Rio Grande Park to play in. I agree with the Friends of Rio Grande Park: It would be much better to have trees and berms in the recycle center instead of a building where they could get hurt if they try to skateboard off one of the walls or ramps. Colorado announces temporary tax break for bars and restaurants

Gov. Jared Polis announced Wednesday that via executive order he has suspended collection of the 2.9% sales tax that businesses must typically return to the government. That means businesses affected by the executive order — bars, restaurants and food trucks — can hang onto an extra $2.90 per $100 in revenue.
