No mistakes

Dear Editor: Sue Geist’s letter to the editor in Monday’s paper said all the things I’ve been preparing to write myself.I, too, will vote for Mick Ireland for mayor, and Steve Skadron and, perhaps, Dwayne Romero for council. My only issue with Dwayne is that he’s a developer, which makes me uneasy, although everyone who knows him believes he is fair and will continue to work for the good of Aspen. If not Dwayne, then Mike Wampler. As for Mick Ireland, I haven’t hesitated for a moment! My principles and hopes for the preservation of this town and valley rest comfortably with Mick. I’m also voting for Proposition 2; acquisition of open space. Who can disagree with more open space? And, the bus lanes on the bridge just seem such a reasonable choice at this time.As we know, this is one of the most important city elections in many, many years. I so hope I don’t make any mistakes.
