No love for headline

Dear Editor:

Unnecessary is the only words that describe the use of the Aspen Daily News headline “No love for Torre,” which followed the article titled “Council narrows candidates to five.”

What possible purpose could have been served by changing the heading in the follow-up other than to take a personal dig at one of the candidates?

The newspaper should be ashamed of itself.
