Nice gestures in Basalt

Dear Editor:

Last Monday I walked out to my car after work and found a few Hershey’s Kisses attached to a message under the windshield. The message read: “We know Mondays can be rough, so we’re trying to do something nice for the people at our school and in our community every Monday. Enjoy your ‘hug’ and have a great week!”

It was from the BHS students for Random Acts of Kindness. I just want to acknowledge the students of Basalt and their thoughtful gestures! It really is the simple things in life that make a difference. Oh, and p.s.: Your team spirit this year rocks! Keep up the great work!
