New blood for AVH |

New blood for AVH

With the hospital board elections just around the corner I would like to take a second to remind the community of all the controversy that has plagued the incumbents who are choosing to run again. Remember how the board wanted to give the CEO, Randy Middlebrook, the house that was built with taxpayer dollars? Keep in mind the number of lawsuits that have been brought against the hospital since this board has been in place. How about all of the long-time employees who voluntarily left AVH because of its faulty leadership? And there are entirely too many unanswered questions about the finances and billing practices.

In the greater good of the community and its hospital, let the incumbents step aside and allow the hospital to be infused with new blood.
