Nepal effort requesting sleeping bags and funds
In an effort to provide relief to Nepal in the wake of a devastating earthquake, a local group is asking for sleeping bags and cash donations.
The nonprofit Planet-Med is attempting to hand-deliver sleeping bags so displaced people have a warm place to sleep. The group also is working with a wholesale supplier to purchase tarps for the villages of Kathmandu.
Donations are accepted at http://www.gofundme.com/t5czj2a. Sleeping bags can be dropped off at the Aspen Fire Department or the Bank of Colorado in Willits. For the most-up-to-date information, visit https://http://www.facebook.com/planetmednepal?ref=aymt_homepage_panel.
