Need the ‘life’s blood’ vote

Come next Aspen City Council election, will someone run on the platform to represent the commuters, “the life’s blood of the community?”

In the “old south,” blacks were the “life’s blood of the community,” but they didn’t get to vote. That all changed.

Maybe the “life’s blood,” of Aspen should be allowed to vote in Aspen elections, too, so as to directly participate in the city government which has such an impact on their lives.

Sylvan Fire receives more resources from Type-1 team on Thursday
