Navigate Snowmass’ public data, information with new online tool

Snowmass Village has launched a new tool that allows the public to navigate public data and information in an accessible manner, according to a news release.

The new geographic information system and open data portal, accessible at tosv.com/439/GIS-Mapping, will serve as a central hub for a wide range of geographic and statistical data, including urban planning, transportation, environmental mapping, public health, and more.

Users will be able to visualize, download, and interact with various datasets that help inform everything from local government projects to environmental monitoring, the release states.

“The Town of Snowmass Village is proud to announce the launch of its new Geographic Information System and Open Data Portal, providing residents, businesses, and developers with easy access to a wealth of geospatial data and public resources,” the release states. “This new platform is designed to promote transparency, facilitate data-driven decision-making, and encourage innovative solutions to community challenges.”
