Prospects have brightened for the midvalley to finally get a natural foods store.Michael Lipkin, one of the partners in the Willits development just upvalley from the El Jebel City Market, has repeatedly said he wants to attract a natural foods outlet to his project. A letter from Lipkin and his partners to Basalt officials indicated that may become a reality.”We currently have some interesting commercial opportunities to finally move forward with [at] the Willits Town Center,” the letter says. “We cannot be too specific at this time, however, one use in particular is a natural foods/specialty foods grocer.”Lipkin couldn’t be reached for elaboration.
