Whether or not one agrees with the verbiage of Jay Pate’s fusillades directed toward Ms. Sue Gray, one thing is certainly clear: Jay Pate is undoubtedly the most lucid and graspable debater found amidst The Aspen Times’ devoted editorial writers. Perhaps the Times should consider his writing talent and “make him an offer he can’t refuse.”

Aspen City Council puts brakes on Old Powerhouse Preservation Project
With many lingering questions still surrounding the fate of Aspen’s historic Old Powerhouse, City Council decided during Monday’s work session to hold off on providing staff direction on moving the preservation project forward until more information can be presented.
