On Thursday, Nov. 14, The Wheeler Opera House presented a reception in The Vault, the second-floor lobby area at the historic theater. New executive director Mike Harrington who took the helm in September welcomed all as he announced the slate of new events confirmed for the 2024-2025 season. Appealing to a range of interests and ages, the winter lineup spans comedy, music, dance, film, theater, and family-friendly shows.
A few highlights include Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Oates with a two-night residency on Feb. 28 and March 1, Latin American stand-up comedian Sofia Niño de Rivera performing an entirely Spanish show on March 13, and world-renowned comedian Jerry Seinfeld headlining two shows on March 15.
Harrington also introduced the new Wheeler Insiders program for Roaring Fork Valley residents offering exclusive benefits such as pre-sale access, discounts, and invitations to Insider events.
Visit the Wheeler box office at 320 E. Hyman Ave. in Aspen in person to become a member during operating hours from noon-5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Tickets are on sale now to registered Wheeler Insiders and to the public on Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. (970.920.5770/aspenshowtix.com.)
