Mountain Mayhem: We like to move it

It’s no surprise that Colorado is often ranked as one of the fittest states in the country, with its stunning scenery, high physical activity levels, lower obesity rates, and a plethora of sports year-round.

I personally appreciate both indoor and outdoor workouts and see the benefits of how strength training and group fitness inside complement active pursuits and sports outside. I also always appreciate pop-up workout programs when they surface and recently discovered one that has taken hold at The St. Regis Aspen with Post House Hamptons and Snow Lodge, presenting group classes and private training.

Open to all on a space-available basis, classes take place in the fitness center, outside on the pool deck, and in the heated dome next to the hot tubs.

I took a 60-minute weights class from Post House Master Trainer Tarik Kaljanac in the gym, which stimulated my core and legs, and I will be back for more soon.

Find the schedule online at mindbodyonline.com/explore/locations/post-house-aspen or for more information, email info@posthousehamptons.com.
