Mountain Collective pass adds two new resorts

The Mountain Collective pass is adding resorts in Japan and Montana to its offerings for the 2018-19 season, officials announced Tuesday.

The pass, which includes Aspen Skiing Co., is picking up Big Sky Resort in Montana and the Niseko United Resort in northern Japan. That brings the total to 17 destinations in the pass, which is available for $499 and offers two free days at each partner resort and 50 percent off after that.

Season pass prices for Aspen resorts were announced in April and will go on sale later this month. The prices are $1,899 for the premier pass or $1,389 if purchased through a chamber of commerce in the Roaring Fork Valley.
