Mother’s Day service Sunday at Aspen Chapel
This Sunday May 8, 2011, is Mother’s Day, and in honor, the Aspen Chapel is hosting an interfaith service and brunch. This promises to be a wonderful way to remember, spend time with and thank our mothers, wives, grandmothers, sisters, daughters and all of the people who have made a difference in our lives.
The interfaith service will be held in the Aspen Chapel Sanctuary from 9:30-10:30 a.m., with music provided by local favorites Ellen Stapenhorst and Obadiah Jones. Children from the chapel’s Tuesday school will also perform. Immediately following the service, a brunch will be served downstairs in the Aspen Chapel gallery.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Admission is free, though donations will be graciously accepted. We hope to see you at the Aspen Chapel at 0077 Meadowood Drive, near the Aspen roundabout.

Sick of not being able to find a parking place on Lone Pine Road because people are storing their cars and trailers? That’s about to change.
