The duo defeated Debbie Webster of Carrolton, Texas, and partner Darcy Keith of Plano, Texas, in the finals.

In the Men’s 50’s, Kenny Lentin of La Jolla, California teamed with Tom Witt of Scottsdale, Arizona, to take the national title and the MotherLode crown.

They defeated Greg Brendel of Dallas and Eric Anderson of Santa Cruz, California, in the title match.

In the Men’s 60’s division, legend Jon Lee of Santa Barbara, California, joined forces with Dal Salyer of Los Osos, California, to win the Men’s 60’s national championship at the 2015 Aspen MotherLode.

Second place went to Pete Burton and Dave Akin, both of Colorado Springs.

More than 500 teams are particapting in the 43rd annual Aspen Motherlode.

Today’s schedule will kick off the Men’s Open and Women’s Open divisions in the sand at Koch Lumber Park and nearby Willoughby Park.
