Morse memorial is Saturday

Longtime Woody Creek resident Doris Morse died March 15. Morse, who moved to Woody Creek with her family in 1965, was postmaster of the post office there for 21 years. She is survived by her son, Jack Morse, daughter Karel Fordyce, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Woody Creek Tavern.
